Felipe Echarte founded FMA Construction, Inc. in August 1984, bringing with him a lifetime of construction expertise and a commitment to quality that has defined the company for four decades.

About Felipe
After earning his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1972, Felipe worked with the family business JL Echarte & Sons, Inc., developing condominiums throughout South Florida. His deep roots in construction, combined with his engineering background, gave him the foundation to launch FMA Construction in 1984. His vision to pivot into healthcare construction after a decade of commercial work transformed FMA into the specialized firm it is today.

Andres Echarte joined FMA Construction in 2009 and has been instrumental in growing the company's healthcare construction practice and business development efforts.

About Andres
A University of Florida graduate, Andres brought fresh energy and business acumen to FMA when he joined in 2009. His extensive hands-on experience in healthcare construction — spanning gypsum board, acoustical ceiling, and stucco trades — combined with his OSHA 30-hour safety certification, makes him an invaluable leader on complex healthcare projects. As Director of Business Development, Andres manages client relationships, contract negotiations, and the financial performance of the company.
